eScholarship generally does not support the withdrawal or removal of publications once posted. We feel it is important to provide perpetual access to materials published within eScholarship whenever possible and appropriate. However, we will remove publications under special circumstances, including in the case of submission errors, rights violations, or inappropriate content.
If you would like to request that a work that you have deposited using the UC Publication Management System be removed from eScholarship, please contact us with the following information:
- The URL of the item to be removed
- The reason for the withdrawal request
Please be aware that even after the removal of a text, a citation to the item will remain in eScholarship, along with a URL, and the item will continue to be listed in your My Publications > Claimed in the UC Publication Management System. If you would like to remove from your publications list, choose to Reject it from your publications list.
