The UC Publication Management System scans a range of publications databases to find publications you may have authored based on your individual search settings and connected identifiers. Certain data sources, such as Scopus and Dimensions, can only be actively searched by users whose campuses are subscribers; authors at other campuses may see these sources in their data records due to cross-campus collaboration.

User override: Preferred ⭐ data record
A user may flag one data source as their preferred by selecting the ⭐ icon in the data source list. Setting a data record as preferred makes it the default information used when depositing to eScholarship, writing the record to ORCID, and making corrections in eScholarship. Only the user and their delegates can see that the data record has been set as preferred.
